Ooh, new music....
Well 'newish'. I recorded this back in April this year and it was going to be the start of a new album of 'retro' guitar tracks. Shortly after finishing BFF I lost all interest in writing and recording and, as of October this year have only just rediscovered any desire to be creative.
So the retro idea is long gone and Best Foot Forward is all that remains of the concept. On a positive, I think this is one of the favourite bass parts that I've written (I've mentioned before that I don't consider myself a bass player), this was recorded on my old Hofner violin bass.
On the 'up' side I am starting to write on guitar again and I've got a new collection of electronic noises in the works which is currently at about 6 tracks with 4 fully mixed and finished.
Oh, and the Christmas single is done and ready to upload at the beginning of December, so there you go....see you in December....unless I finish the electronic stuff in the meantime but I'm not forcing it just in case my creative muse turns to custard again!
