Afraid of the Dark - Hallowe'en 2021
I wrote this piece as an homage to all the great John Carpenter horror movies I love so much, and back in 2019 when I originally uploaded it to FaceBook the first 12 seconds were deemed too similar and I was advised of a possible copyright claim.
I couldn't be arsed with whatever might follow that so I took it straight down again and let it fester for a couple of years.
Although the intro draws heavily (obviously too much so) from movies like The Fog and Hallowe'en here it is on my own website in time for Hallowe'en '21 and I do think once it gets going the similarities end.
I didn't want to let this languish any longer because I did enjoy putting the video together, so enjoy....and don't have nightmares.
