I did have a whole CD of vocal covers planned initially but we never made it past the first track and to be honest neither of us were pleased enough to let that initial recording out. It wasn't that bad but it was done in a bit too much of a hurry and I probably wasn't as well prepared as I should have been therefore the backing track was done on the fly and in a rush and Jen wasn't that pleased with her vocal.

Fast forward 5 years and I'm a lot more familiar with the software and yada yada yada....

Time for a remix then. The vocal is culled from the best of 3 takes which I kept and is triple tracked and EQ'd to be thicker than originally captured with the addition of some reverb on one of the tracks. The original guitars have been re EQ'd and I have recorded some new parts, a 12 string and the 2 new lead harmony guitars. I've also added a string section and a harpsichord.

Also here are the (now finished) backing tracks for what would have been a couple of the other tracks, The Corrs, Only When I Sleep and Uninvited by Alanis Morissette. Uninvited is all me while Only When I Sleep has a drum track under it.

I'm really please at how well it's turned out so have a listen, you know you want to.
