In the midst of Coronavirus....
This collection was helped along by the collection of demos which I had been squirrelling away on and off (and which I haven't yet used all of....next time) for a few months. Unsurprisingly most of the inspirational hardwork had therefore already been done and all I had to do was turn the fledgling ideas into something concrete.
I'm really chuffed with this collection, particularly the bass parts funnily enough. I've said it before, I'm a guitarist. The rest of this stuff I can do but it's not the 'bread and butter' so to have come up with some (I think) quite tuneful bass lines is especially pleasing.
The eagle eyed will notice that the album title and tracks all derive from J.M.Barrie's Peter Pan. The working title for this was "Black and White' but I fell out of love with that fairly soon after I decided on it so the cover art (such as it was) got scrapped and it became 'Straight On Til Morning'. I rather suspect that the current cover image is a sunset rather than sunrise but whatever, it's pretty.
With all the current self isolation malarky I hope you find something to like here and that it provides (for however long) a fleeting distraction.
