To coincide with the start of my sixtieth trip round the sun this February 29th I hatched a cunning plan....to record 2 new collections one guitar based the other synth. Anyway thanks to our lovely Border Collie, Robby, the first of those 2 got nixed back in December 2023 when he bolted after some invisible nemesis and his lead buggered my left index finger. It's less buggered as I type but my playing is still not where I would hope and realistically may not be for another month or so! I AM playing just slowly and not very fluently.
So to this collection, as is often the case a little happenstance is at play. In 1963 Robert Moog began work on his first synth which became available in 1964 so it seems I'm playing Synths at Sixty and Synths ARE sixty, who'da thunk it?
In another technical wizardry moment, the chord structure of track 11 was written (for a laugh) by ChatGPT. It needed some tweaking but is was fun to do although I won't be repeating the experitemt, hence 'AI AI-O' !!
It seems I can still write a tune or two so (I hope) there'll be more to come later in the year. Hope you enjoy my sixtieth birthday present to myself as much as I enjoyed making it.
